Are the pods shelf-stable or do they need to be frozen?
Pods are completely shelf-stable and do not require freezing or refrigeration. Exact expiration dates are printed on each pod but you can expect them to last around 6 months.

I had the Chocolate Coldsnap ice cream for the first time while waiting for my car to be serviced at the auto dealership and was I ever blown away! The machine is so cool, you just pick your flavor pod (so wild they do not need to be refrigerated), pop it into the machine and like magic, within a couple quick minutes I had a bowl of some of the best chocolate soft serve I’ve ever experienced in my life. And don’t ask me how but there is no clean-up whatsoever, making it very easy to have my second serving. Magic, pure magic.
