ColdSnap Return Policy
Returns
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
This Return Policy governs voluntary returns and refunds and is separate from and in addition to any applicable written warranty provided with ColdSnap appliances.
To be eligible for a return, items must be in the same condition that you received them, unused or unworn, with all original accessories, manuals, tags, and packaging materials included. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Original shipping charges are non-refundable, except where the item arrives damaged or defective.
Return Authorization Required (RMA)
All returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) issued by ColdSnap prior to shipment.
- To request an RMA, contact orders@coldsnap.com or call (833) 933-4474 within the applicable return window.
- If approved, ColdSnap will issue an RMA number and provide return instructions.
- The RMA number must be clearly marked on the return shipment and included with the returned item.
Returns sent without an RMA, or that do not comply with the provided return instructions, will be refused and returned to the sender at the customer’s expense.
Non-Returnable Items (Consumables & Pods)
ColdSnap pods and other consumable food items are non-returnable due to food safety and quality considerations, except in the following limited circumstances:
- The item arrives damaged, or
- The item arrives within close proximity to its stated “Best By” date
Opened, used, punctured, or temperature-abused pods are not eligible for return or refund.
Appliance and Accessory Returns
ColdSnap appliances and accessory items may be returned within 30 days of delivery provided that they:
- Are in like-new condition
- Show no excessive wear, damage, or misuse
- Include all original accessories, manuals, cords, inserts, and packaging materials
- Are properly packaged in the original packaging materials to prevent damage during return shipment
- Match the serial number associated with the original purchase, if applicable
Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs for appliances and accessory items.
Risk of Loss
The customer bears all risk of loss or damage during return transit. Any damage occurring before the appliance is received and inspected by ColdSnap is the customer’s responsibility. For this reason, shipping insurance is strongly recommended.
Inspection, Refusal, and Restocking Fees
All returns are subject to inspection upon receipt.
ColdSnap reserves the right to:
- Refuse a return that does not meet the eligibility criteria, or
- Issue a partial refund or charge a restocking fee commensurate with the condition of the returned item
Restocking fees may apply for, including but not limited to:
- Missing or damaged packaging
- Missing accessories or components
- Cosmetic or functional damage
- Evidence of excessive use
- Incomplete returns
Any applicable restocking fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
Damaged or Defective Items (Upon Delivery)
If your item arrives damaged or defective, you must notify ColdSnap within 72 business hours of confirmed delivery by contacting orders@coldsnap.com or by calling (833) 933-4474.
Please provide:
- A description of the issue
- Photos and/or video documenting the damage or defect
- The order number and proof of delivery
Failure to notify ColdSnap within this timeframe may result in the claim being denied, except where prohibited by law.
Depending on the circumstances, ColdSnap may, at its option, repair, replace, or refund the affected item in accordance with this policy and any applicable warranty.
Returns vs. Warranty Claims
Returns under this policy are separate from warranty claims.
- Issues arising within 30 days of delivery may be eligible for return under this policy.
- Issues arising after 30 days are handled exclusively under ColdSnap’s Limited Warranty, as applicable.
Eligibility for return under this policy does not guarantee eligibility for warranty coverage, and vice versa.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you whether your refund is approved.
If approved:
- Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment only
- Refunds are processed within 10 business days of approval
- Your bank or credit card company may take additional time to post the refund

Policy Updates
ColdSnap reserves the right to modify or update this Return Policy at any time. Final determination of return eligibility rests solely with ColdSnap.
