Panoramic Photography on the North Shore
June 27-28, 2009
Maximum of 8 participants
Cost: $395.00
Learn how to shoot, process, and print stunning panoramic photographs. This weekend workshop will take you through the step by step process of camera/bracket/tripod set-up, image capture, post processing, image stitching, and printing a panoramic image.
Our workshop begins sunrise on Saturday at one of several scenic settings along the North Shore of Lake Superior where we will visit and photograph panoramic images. Later in the day we will assemble at our computer lab in Waterfront Gallery. Here we will begin the process of down-loading and processing images for panoramic stitching. Using Photoshop CS3 or 4 we will stitch multiple image frames into one panoramic view. We will compare and discuss advantages of secondary market software programs. Every participant will leave the workshop with at least one 30 inch long panoramic fine art print (ready for framing) that they shot, produced and printed during the workshop.
